Queen Anne's Revenge Restaurant

My husband, Chris, and I had the opportunity to dine with his fellow Googler's last night at Queen Anne's Revenge Steak and Seafood Restaurant. It was fabulous, so I feel compelled to share. The pirate decor was a bit over the top, but quite tasteful in a museum fashion. The waitstaff was very attentive and we had a large party. Now for the notable dishes. You must have the she-crab soup. Yes, you can get this most anywhere in Charleston, but there is a reason that it is suggested as a meal add-on. It was perfect, rich, and a had hint of spicy. We shared a bowl and loved it. I had the Filet and Crab with mashed sweet potatoes. Also very tasty and cooked to perfection. We finished up with a shared Creme Brulee which was one of the best I have had in a long time. The bread is also quite good. The only thing we could have done without is the Mussels appetizer. They were huge and bland. Worth the hunt on Daniel Island if you are ever in Charleston (you will find it hidden among office complexes and hotels). Yum!
